Day 2 of the cruise was all about pushing limits—on boards, on walls, and even off the side of the ship. Full Video on YouTube! Click Here
We spent the whole day on the Royal Caribbean Icon, and it was non-stop action from the jump. First stop: the FlowRider. Jude was back at it, locked in on his mission to earn the legendary blue band. Despite giving his best and taking some falls, it stayed just out of reach—maybe tomorrow’s the day.
Noah was quietly making strides on the FlowRider. He had the basics down and was even throwing some smooth 180s. But for him, it’s all about style. Touching the water while riding, throwing in some stylish slashes to soak the lifeguards—those were the next unlocks. The shuv-it was his white whale, but that trick might need another day or two of prep. Let’s just say the FlowRider has levels, and he’s climbing fast.
Luke, on the other hand, found his groove in a different lane. After a few falls trying to master the stand-up board, he switched it up and absolutely owned the boogie board. He was throwing down some big stuff early, and we’re betting by the end of this cruise, he’s going to be hitting tricks none of us have names for yet.
By midday, we geared up and faced 40MPH winds on the rock wall. Every grip felt like a battle against nature, but it was a blast. We followed it up with some putt-putt golf—laid back, but still competitive, naturally.
The highlight of the day though? Crown’s Edge. Imagine an obstacle course 145 feet above the ocean that ends with a plank walk… except the plank collapses out from under you. At night. With the ocean roaring below. The first thing they do is put a bright yellow neon suit on you so they can find you if you fall off the ship. I'm not joking! You then zipline around the ship and land back onboard like an action movie hero. It was wild. And yes—all three Borillasnap boys did it.
Day 2 was about testing limits and taking falls with a grin. Here’s to unlocking new tricks and new heights on Day 3.
